This Week on DVD and one movie comes atop the rest in box office

This week's top box office movie is 'The Social Network'. The Social Network is about the creation of one of the most used websites up to date. That website is Facebook.com. The movie is about the creator of facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, and the events that take place before facebook becomes what it is today. The story takes place in the fall of 2003 as Mark Zuckerberg is in Harvard College working on a new idea. Within 6 years that his idea facebook is put in place Mark becomes the youngest billionaire in history, but the success complicates with his personal and business life. This movie was highly reviewed and received 23 million dollars.

This week on DVD/blu ray is the remake of Karate Kid on blu ray. This remake is about a 12 year kid named Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) from Detroit, Michigan. Dre loves his hometown, but when his mother has to move to China for her job Dre does not know what to think. The movie has plenty of fighting and romance especially when Dre meets a girl and instantly falls for her, but does not know that the school bully is a very good family friend to her. After Dre gets bullied, his maintenance man (Jackie Chan) comes to the rescue and then teaches him kung fu. This blu ray comes with a special package that also contains the original Karate Kid.

  1. Hey I watched The Karate Kid, i thought it was a good attempt at a remake, but in my opinion the original was better. Have you seen this movie? I think that this movie has its moments, but it is not great overall. As for social network i have not seen that movie but it seems very interesting. Do you know if it is accurate the events in the movie and the real events in Marks life.

  2. Overall I think you do a good job a summarizing, but there isn't much personal opinion. Try to do something so that its sounds "yours". Make it unique and add you're own tone to it. Im sure people in the end only care about the movie, but you can use better language to make the movie sound more interesting.
